Consultative and prospecting meetings for SIPPO - ASMEX and GIZ cooperation in the dates sector

On 12 and 13 September, SIPPO Morocco and the Moroccan Association of Moroccan Exporters (ASMEX) in collaboration with the German Technical Cooperation (GIZ), met with the Governor of the Zagora region, and the President of the Regional Council and other parties stakeholders of the date chain.

Consultative and prospecting meetings for SIPPO - ASMEX and GIZ cooperation in the dates sector

Field visits were made to two economic interest groups (GIEs) made up of about twenty cooperatives.
The objective of these meetings is to prepare the cooperation partnership to support upstream these GIEs dates, and also downstream to conquer new markets for export.
