FIRST OFFICIAL SOUTH AFRICAN COUNTRY PAVILION AT THE INCOSMETICS GLOBAL 2023, TRADE FAIR

23 January – 31 March 2023
Location:

The South African Country Pavilion, which is being coordinated and funded by the dtic, is in line with the BSO partners’ initiatives to promote exports of the natural ingredients sector.

With SIPPO’s oversight and coaching support, the dtic first held a kick-off call with the three BSO partners, CECOSA, Wesgro and ECDC, to plan and coordinate their support to the participating companies. This included preparing a Social Media campaign to successfully promote the country pavilion and the exhibitors.

To ensure a comprehensive preparation of the event the BSOs, with SIPPO’s oversight, have held virtual pre-event sessions, led by the dtic, for the fourteen exhibiting companies. The first information session included a trade fair briefing, detail on the preparatory, on-site and after care support offered by the BSOs to the companies, as well as the Social Media campaign being undertaken for the event.

This was followed by a detailed pre-fair workshop, successfully led by the dtic in collaboration with the three other BSOs for the participating companies.

Being one of the world’s most biologically diverse countries in the world, South Africa has a vibrant bio trade sector with companies supplying high-quality organic ingredients from indigenous plants to the international cosmetics sector.

The BSOs are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the South African Stand in Hall 3, at AJ30a to AJ30r. Further information may be obtained from Ms Hloniphile Nkiwane at the dtic: HNkiwane@thedtic.gov.za
